Be Ageless Through Prophetic Prayer

You can be ageless through prophetic prayer. Your prophetic prayer can lift you up to the next level in your life.

Everyone wants to be immortal and be ageless; it is human nature to want for more of life and to enjoy it endlessly. It is not a sin to want that, what makes it folly is the manner by which one chooses to live his life. Bishop E. Bernard Jordan believes that a life lived for the purpose of God is worthy to be lived endlessly.

Prophecy says that life eternal is given to those who choose to pursue the way of Jesus Christ. This is the Father’s divine master plan when He said “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)

One of the most important character is that Jesus displayed when He was here on earth is to commune with the Father daily in prayer. This is how Jesus learned of the Father’s prophetic plan that He would die on the cross. It is also in praying that Jesus got His strength in all the things He had to accomplish. That is clearly depicted in the garden of Gethsemane just before Jesus was to be betrayed by one of His disciples, Judas. This was a very difficult time for Jesus so to have the strength He went up to the garden alone and travailed in prayer.

Bishop E. Bernard Jordan also highlights in his teachings the power of praying just as Jesus taught us how to in “The Lord’s Prayer”; it is not a prayer that only has one part, which is petition. Oftentimes, even Christians are guilty of this mistake; they only ask God for what they want and expect it to be given as long as they pray for it continuously. This is not how Jesus taught the correct prayer pattern.

Jesus prayed by first giving praise to the Father, then asking for petitions that are not of His own, rather the will of God for Him. This will then be followed by petition where one asks for forgiveness for one’s sins. Even Jesus did this despite the fact that He is free of blemish and sin.

The last part of the prayer pattern is prophetic prayer where one prays from God’s throne. This is very distinct because here one exercises power and dominion over the enemy in the pursuit of God’s plan and purposes. Now, here is where immortality comes in but, it may not be how we see or vision it. It does not mean not dying but, the blessed assurance that once we are able to complete God’s purpose in our life, death will not be a sign of end, rather it is a time for victory for after death, we will rise again to have everlasting life in heaven.

We need to look beyond the numbers in our age because this is only temporary and meaningless if not lived for its highest calling. We need to remember that the reason for us being created by God is to fulfill His great commission here on earth, and that is to win souls for His Kingdom.
