Communing with God

Kids who are 3 years old are already taught how to pray not only in Sunday School but even in their homes. As a grown up, you get to understand why prayer is important in a Christian’s life and how it can truly make an impact in your life.

In the process of prophetic evangelism, prayer can also help us in other ways: Prayer is where we get to know the Father’s heart and values—this helps us to respond to people the way He would. Prayer is the place where we commune with God. As we live out of that fellowship, we grow in sensitivity to what He is doing moment-by-moment, in our daily lives. Prayer helps us to stay filled with the Holy Spirit and empowered to witness of His love and power to others.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.“ Philippians 4:6-7
